First, this one is not really one executable instead it is a package that
automatic expand in the temp directory of the user and then run from
there.
Second, we provide such executable for windows and MacOSX not because it
is not possible to run the client the same way we do on UNIX (it is
possible) but because those platforms are missing a proper package
managers (may change in the future as they seem to start to find «apps»
cool).
Finally, I think it should be possible to also create a frozen
executable for other platform using cx_Freeze [1].
