It because it happen quite often in the business. Example: 1. Multi companies: owner wanted to see the revenue from which account. They may share same customer but different revenue 2. Multi currencies: they wanted to separate the currencies receivables. > It > looks like you just want to «categorize» your revenue which is done by > using different account revenue on the product. > Maybe i provide the wrong example to give you wrong impression. Example: 1. During promotional period, they want to use different receivable other than "receivable account" in party. To track customer buying behaviour. 2. To segregate the receivable account based on the types of invoice. Example: invoice for project, invoice for saleable product, invoice for different country, etc. My suggestion: Journal in this case is to switch the account receivable without user need to know what is the account need to use. Name of journal will be more easier to memorize and easier to understand rather than the account name. > > PS: Please don't top-post on this mailing nor send attachments, see > http://groups.tryton.org/netiquette I will take note in future. > -- > Cédric Krier - B2CK SPRL > Email/Jabber: [email protected] > Tel: +32 472 54 46 59 > Website: http://www.b2ck.com/
