I agree, but this is not what is meant by multi-company in Tryton today and this discussion is undoubtly about getting closer to what you mention. If we use EDI to synchronize operations between Tryton databases, we don't have to implement industry specifics. A standard is a help for development and maintenance in particular when it allows a trusted third party like EDI. Good news is that if someone needs an industry specific, hopefully it can be an extension of the core implementation. >
