Quoting Christian Haugan Toldnes <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

I visited, I touched and I left...

Not able to reproduce it on my system. Only difference was that I did
not install mc.

Would you be so kind as to reinstall and see if you are able to trigger
it again?

kind regards

Well, it's _very_ strange, but before I changed the kernel to SMP, swup ran fine, so this is what I did:

swup --install kernel
modified symlinks in /boot
lilo
rpm -e kernel-smp
swup --upgrade sambma went fine!

swup --install kernel-smp
modfied symlinks in /boot
lilo
swup --upgrade postfix went fine!

rpm -e kernel-2.4.30-2tr
swup runs fine!

As far as I can see, the server is the same as before, but I have hit swup
--upgrade and the system is updated without errors.

Unable to reproduce the error now.

Monday I will try to reinstall the server with the same ISO and reproduce my
steps I did to see if the error comes back.

C, you can still access the server, feel free to take a look.
