Webmin 1.18 is still better as 1.19 and 1.20 When I setup a linux system I first install ssh then simple samba only with one guest share to upload easy the rpm's. The network settings are then still on dhcp ... Using webmin I wish to setup the network parameters. Using trustix 2.2 webmin 1.19 and webmin 1.20 fails only 1.18 works for that ...
The strange thing is that the problem must be trustix related. I have a proxy server running as trustix 2.2 but no updates since months. Webmin 1.20 works fine on that box. If I install a new trustix 2.2 the I can only use webmin 1.8 Sincerely, Jos ----- Original Message ----- From: Thomas <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected] Subject: Samba and a very annoying login box [SOLVED] Date: Tue, 24 May 2005 11:35:40 +0200 > > A while ago I posted to the list about my huge problems getting > Samba to work.
