I have been a Trustix fan for 5 years, and with great anticipation I waited for TSL 3.0 with the 2.6 kernel. I love it.
I don't love the installation. Viper is so slow compared to Anaconda. Viper takes as long as a windows installation. I love when my windows colleauges are around for a TSL 2.2 install. They say, "You're done already? Wow!" I did one yesterday while I waited on hold with the ISP of my customer. The slowest part is the actuall installation. Getting through the settings is fine, but then after you choose the packages you want, why is Viper so much slower than Anaconda? Is the installation more robust? What gives?
