we use the unversionned name of a package for the versions that are 
default in the distribution. If we also ship compatibility versions, 
they have versioned names.

In 2.2 the default version of glib is 2.x and thus that package is 
called 'glib'. The compatibility version is 1.2.x, and thus that package 
is called 'glib12'.

Don't think that's a problem though.
