I noticed this too! I can't bother using it if it is going to do that.
In 2.1, it would take about 3 or 4 minutes before finally finishing the
boot. But it 2.2, I waited about 10 minutes before I rebooted in
Interactive mode to disable it. There should be a timeout... I mean, if
it can't find a network in 5 to 10 seconds, screw it.
