This still happens in 3.0. We had some network problems - the UDP packets for DNS were bieng dropped somewhere but that caused the trustix machine not to boot at all (waited for ever in the ntpd init script). Also: even if I knew how to edit the script at /etc/sysconfig/ntpd don't you think that every new install of trustix will suffer from this problem? How can you close the bug as "WORKSFORME" if the solution is to manually modify the distro to fix it? Just curious.
