I couldn't agree more. I now know of at least two different separately maintained unofficial contrib sections, and it would help all users if those where merged with the official community contrib. That's why we named it 'community' after all, to credit the ones that does the work :) Anyone that have some packages they would like to see in the official contrib sections can simply send me an email, and I'll create an account for them. It's easy, takes little time, and in the end saves work for the maintainer.
