Package description:
apache
Apache is a full featured web server that is freely available, and also
happens to be the most widely used.
mailman
Mailman is software to help manage email discussion lists, much like
Majordomo and Smartmail. Unlike most similar products, Mailman gives
each mailing list a webpage, and allows users to subscribe,
unsubscribe, etc. over the Web. Even the list manager can administer
his or her list entirely from the Web. Mailman also integrates most
things people want to do with mailing lists, including archiving, mail
<-> news gateways, and so on.
nmap
Nmap ("Network Mapper") is a free open source utility for network
exploration or security auditing. It was designed to rapidly scan
large networks, although it works fine against single hosts. Nmap uses
raw IP packets in novel ways to determine what hosts are available on
the network, what services (application name and version) those hosts
are offering, what operating systems (and OS versions) they are running,
what type of packet filters/firewalls are in use, and dozens of other
characteristics. Nmap runs on most types of computers and both console
and graphical versions are available. Nmap is free software, available
with full source code under the terms of the GNU GPL.
samba
Samba provides an SMB server which can be used to provide network
services to SMB (sometimes called "Lan Manager") clients, including
various versions of MS Windows, OS/2, and other Linux machines. Samba
uses NetBIOS over TCP/IP (NetBT) protocols and does NOT need NetBEUI
(Microsoft Raw NetBIOS frame) protocol.

- Remove apache dependency on apache-suexec.
mailman < TSL 3.0 > < TSL 2.2 >
- Added default fcron paths in crontab for user mailman, Bug #1499
nmap < TSL 3.0 >
- New Upstream.
samba < TSL 3.0 >
- Created libsmbclient.so.0 symlink, Bug #1439.
Action:
We recommend that all systems with this package installed be upgraded.
Please note that if you do not need the functionality provided by this
package, you may want to remove it from your system.
