Check if the kernel recognizes it by typing "dmesg | grep eth".

You will then probably see eth0 ( existing card) , and hopefully eth1  
( new card ).

Then you can configure it with ifconfig. Im not sure how to save the  
settings. ( Haven't used trustix yet, just tested a little )

Eg. ifconfig eth1 192.168....  netmask 255.255.... broadcast  
192.168......
