Hello.
I have been using Trustix now for about 4 years, but this is the first time
that I have ever subscribed to any of the discussion groups.
Anyway, I am having a really difficult time:
I had been using Trustix 2.2 since it came out, and had been using loopback
encryption on my RAID array. The way i always did this, was I would go to
kernel.org and download the latest kernel, configure it for loopback
encryption, cryptoloop, and then tell it to build all of the cryptographic
cypher modules, etc.. Then I would compile it (make), etc..
Well here lately for some strange reason, everytime I try to actually complie
the kernel, I always get lots of errors after it has been compiling for a
while. I get lots of "Undefined Reference to" errors - page after page of
them. I have been all over the place trying to find the solution to this
problem and I have found some explanations, but nothing to actually tell me
WHAT to do about it. I have tried compiling using different hardware,
different versions of Trustix, etc. and no matter what I do, I can not get
past this problem.
Is anybody else having this problem? If so, what has been done to solve it? I
really need to get past this problem and soon because I can not get to any of
my data until I resolve this. Any help will be more than appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Jim Butler
