What kernel version are you talking about? At what version did problems begin? I have a few servers running kernel 2.6.13 on top of TSL 2.2 here and never had a problem compiling the kernel so far, but I realise this is not the latest 2.6.x. Any chance you'd copy/paste a few of these error messages into a posting to look at them? Just for the sake of it I'll try to build 2.6.15.4 on one of these boxes to see if I'm hitting the same kind of problem here.
