I would try booting from the network using PXE instead of from the cdrom.
This way
you could replace the syslinux with a newer release,
http://syslinux.zytor.com/

I had a problem a few years back where the ISO couldn't boot and the
problem was with
the version of syslinux used in TSL. 

The DL145 uses a different chipset than the DL385 also...
