I like pxe.. I've been taking a look at maybe just trying out other 
distros, but having to burn a CD makes me forget about it and go build 
something.. (looked at ubuntu today, only found iso images, dropped it)

gentoo? yuck. I find the concept moronic. source based distro. don't 
make me laugh .. I can see the advantages from a maintainer point of 
view, but as for a user.. no thanks.

If I am to evaluate a new distro for replacing trustix for my own 
personal use, it had better support pxe installation, with a repository 
I can mirror on my server -- and ready-built binary packages.

Most my boxes don't have floppies, much less CD-ROMs
