Yes, you cant use any kernel, cos 3.0.5 has some changes to its kernel from
3.0, so its 2.6.17.8-2tr and forward.
I am guessing that RAID being created from evms does not boot up in nash
based initrd setup. I would need to check it out, so tomorrow i could come
up with something hopefully.

one clause could be the device mapper problem.. but we'll see.
