Hey

Sorry to take so long to respond..

The failure happens on kernel 2.6.17.11-2tr

The loading/dm-nod part flashes past way too quickly to see i'm afraid.

I've attached the dmesg of the only way i can successfully boot, which 
is with kernel 2.6.17.8-1tr and the old initrd made on 3.0

As for the fix , the failure is almost identical before, except the

bit is replaced with a successful loading of dm-mod and device mapper

It then fails mounting the root system again
