Hi list, A problem I have with the latest beta, that might be worth a look. This particular box is an old P200-MMX, nothing special, that does a few light chores for a small number of users.
The install appears to go fine, but when booting it hangs around the point the boot process detects the keyboard and creates device nodes. As there's nothing particularly fancy about this box, it is confusing as to what's stopping it from proceeding. TSL 2.2 never had any trouble, so I presumed it was just due to the nature of a beta. Is there something I can give to the kernel commandline to try and determine what's at fault, and possibly fix?
