I was posting on Slashdot about this little gem, and I thought
you guys would appreciate hearing about it. Fdecc is a program
that uses the secondary FAT on a floppy drive to write error
correcting information. Its for Linux only, and works on DOS
floppies. I use it when I want to take a floppy full of
information home. Invariable it gets a bad sector and my effort
was wasted. This program can repair several bad sectors on a
1.44M floppy.
