Just thought I'd give a caveat about Mandrake 7.2.  If you have a UDMA 66/100 HDD, it 
won't work from the regular distribution.  You can copy hdparm from a working 
distribution to a floppy and then mount it during the Mandrake 7.2 install.  Run it as 
soon as the partitioning wizard appears by changing to the virtual terminal.

#hdparm -d 0 /dev/hd*

The install precedes from there normally.
