Hey... Has does anyone know if KDE 3.1 is going to offer better multimon support? My primary monitor is a 19 inch Samsung SyncMaster 955DF, and I just picked up 6 of the Sony 100ES monitors at the auction, and I'm using one of those as my secondary.
The only problem is, from what I've read, under Mandrake 8, and KDE 2.1.1 ( I actually use 3.0.3) you can't have different resolutions for different monitors. So right now, my 19 inch and my 15 inch are both running at 1024x768. I would obviously like to have my Samsung running higher. I've heard that Enlightenment has good multimon support, but I'm not a big fan of Enlightenment. Please don't just say that I shouldn't use KDE. I know the arguments. I'm hoping KDE 3.1 is faster anyway. And by the way, I don't care that much if I get Xinerama support or not.
