Hello, world! This is Simon Cozens, www.perl.com managing editor, bringing
you the latest goings-on from the world of Perl and our own site.
* Perl.com News
Welcome to the last weekly perl.com newsletter on my watch; I shall be
passing perl.com onto the very capable hands of chromatic, who'll be
coming in as managing editor as of next week.
Before leaving, though, I've tried to instigate a new style of perl.com
article--the lightning article. These are short articles, with a hard
limit of 500 words, in the style of lightning talks. They can be funny,
insightful, innovative, or whatever you like. But go over 500 words, and
we cut you off. Here's the first batch.

I've been working with you all, the Perl community, on perl.com for the
past three years. It's been a great time, and I hope I'll see some of you
in the future. In the words of Larry, "may you do good magic with Perl".
Until we meet again,
Happy hacking!
Simon Cozens
