No, the transports are already there, it's adapting HTTP to using them.

If you mean httpbis, its charter has been deliberately very limited to
rule out, well, everything pretty much other than revising rfc2616.


FWIW - the HTTP over SCTP paper has issues, notably the claims about
SCTP avoiding TIME-WAIT. If anyone bumps into them or knows where that
discussion is happening, it might be useful to point them to the recent
thread on that issue on this list.
