Is tup still alive? I see that the github repo has no recent commits and several outstanding merge requests. Tup is a perfect fit for many of my projects, except for the notable deficiency of being unable to handle inputs from parent or peer directories within the tup project. I would be interested in contributing, but I'm not sure about the state of the project.
