Hello,
I'm trying to include a project's current Git version into the binary on build time. This problem has come up before and so far I'm not aware of any non-hacky solution to do this. See previous discussions and my unsuccessful attempt at asking this on Stackoverflow: - https://groups.google.com/forum/#!msg/tup-users/e_1ynmm1GA8/BrbQ8a8Ul80J;context-place=topic/tup-users/TwaoCaOn_S8 - https://stackoverflow.com/questions/45426455/git-commit-sha-as-part-of-tup-built-binary/55187029#55187029 Since the original discussion is already several years old, has anyone found a better solution since then?
