I would like to see the files there.

1)
It's not just about developing Turbine.  It is not easy to say RTFS (Read
The F.. Source) unless one expects people to be able to compile the source
with reasonable ease.

2)
Also I think that if Ant is getting so good that all the extra stuff that
used to be in the files is unneccessary, then maintaining the files will be
trivial.

3)
This argument may be invalid now, but only half a year ago I had problems
with building two projects with the same version of Ant, since directives
were incompatible.  Turbine has traditionally been bleeding edge and I am
sure that any new Ant Magic that will be added will be instantly utilized in
Turbine.

Note that I am not voting, only voicing concerns, and other people have
expressed the opposite opinion.
