I think with very little effort any Fulcrum service can be turned into an Avalon one.
Just to let you know, so since this community has already showed some interest about it, we could get finally our act together.
Jason, any concrete possibility you envision ATM?
I've learned about the commons.apache.org project, but some @ Avalon are not keen on it yet... I'll leave it all up to you guys to eventually do the lobbying, I have other interesting things to do ATM :-D
