I might be ignorant here, but I simple marked about four months of this mailing list as "read" and deleted it. I found out what Plexus is (it seems to become an Avalon compatible container for components (the eighth according to http://jakarta.apache.org/avalon/framework/reference-containers.html) but what the heck is "Summit"? People, what's would have been so bad in calling the "fulcrum" repository "jakarta-turbine-services" when there was the chance for it? Do we really have to invent new (and most of the time non-descriptive) names for projects? BTW: According to dict.leo.org, a "fulcrum" is "a part of an animal that serves as a hinge or support" or "the support about which a lever turns" or "one that supplies capability for action" (the third definition might go by a stretch to meet the function of the fulcrum repository) A "summit" is "the highest point". Now that's a telling description. :-) Regards Henning -- Dipl.-Inf. (Univ.) Henning P.
