I have access to put the jars on ibiblio, but I couldn't build torque,
turbine, commons-configuration, or commons-dbcp. All because of the same
issue of developers committing changes to the dependencies but not asking
to get the jars put up on ibiblio ( except for dbcp which gives me
compiler errors ). I did try to build them, and would have put them up if
I could have.

I don't have any issue with the public repository at all. I think it
works fine and has been working fine. I did see your other email asking
for the jars to be placed up on ibiblio and appreciate that you offered up
the jars also. The current method of asking on the lists or irc seems to
be sufficient right now. Maybe clearer information on the maven site
regarding the simple procedure might help in the future.
