I know John McNally and the Scarab folk are partial to tying
business logic directly into the om extension classes, which I can
definitely see the benefit of, but I agree with you, I like keeping
Torque's om classes as a pure data layer and having the business
logic contained in its own layer.

So really I use it merely as a replacement for JDBC (and a nice one
at that) rather than a development technique which is more what
Scarab uses it for, IMHO.
