Are there any utilities to reverse engineer a database? It would really
be cool to use the JDBC metadata facilities to create the Torque
descriptor
from an existing database.
I have an existing legacy database in Informix that has around 100
tables,
I would rather not do the busy work of manually creating the Torque
descriptor. Esp. since some of those tables have more than 20 columns!
I want to convert the database to a MySQL database--and the Torque
project is the perfect way to do that. Esp. since it takes care of a
lot
of busy work for me.
