Should you wonder if the time you spent drafting a
response to the "turbine-user" list was spent in
vain...

Hardly....   Thanks (much) for your posting which
clarified the Torque/Turbine handling of "Joined
tables" (20 Jul 2001).  Wish this was in their docs.

FYI - John McNally posted a follow-up to your posting,
saying:  "If table A contains a foreign key to B,
there will be a method A.getB()."  ?? What if there is
no foreign key (as in my case) ??  

I sold Turbine/Torque/Velocity as the tech solution
for a contracted project, a complete replacement of an
existing system.  However, holes in the documentation
and Torque's inability to support Postgresql as
declared have placed me in a "challenging"
predicament.  (Try going from DB->XML->DB) I've spent
weeks analyzing user-list postings for clues,
following dead-end threads, and truly appreciate
postings such as yours.
