Sam, Should you wonder if the time you spent drafting a response to the "turbine-user" list was spent in vain...
Hardly.... Thanks (much) for your posting which clarified the Torque/Turbine handling of "Joined tables" (20 Jul 2001). Wish this was in their docs. FYI - John McNally posted a follow-up to your posting, saying: "If table A contains a foreign key to B, there will be a method A.getB()." ?? What if there is no foreign key (as in my case) ?? I sold Turbine/Torque/Velocity as the tech solution for a contracted project, a complete replacement of an existing system. However, holes in the documentation and Torque's inability to support Postgresql as declared have placed me in a "challenging" predicament. (Try going from DB->XML->DB) I've spent weeks analyzing user-list postings for clues, following dead-end threads, and truly appreciate postings such as yours. ===== Jeff Gehrung (Sr. Programmer Analyst) Holstein Association USA Brattleboro VT 05302 802.451.4146 [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] I'm told "42" answers most ?s. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
