First, thanks to you and all your colleagues for
providing the rest of us the fruits of your labor. 
Truly wish I had the the time to contribute.  This is
my first endeavor with Jakarta and open source
solutions.  Learning where to find the answers has
been as challenging as implementing them.  ;) 

With respect to the use of Postgresql and recent
changes, could you suggest how I can most quickly /
efficiently learn about them and, if possible, where
and what versions of Torque/Village/Turbine now
include these changes and are reasonably stable.

One specific question: How do I translate the numeric
(8,2) to an XML declaration - what should db.props
contain? Should I assume it's my responsibility to
modify source code to handle this parsing?
