The main problem was not really a bug in scarab.  I did not have all the
email addresses configured properly.  Email should work now, but I have
seen another small bug where the Date header is not getting set.  It
should be set in the commons-email package.  It seems that many smtp
servers will add it as I have not noticed the problem before, but the
server on nagoya leaves it unset.  This is going to require a change to
scarab (or commons-email), so the fix will probably wait till the next
beta.

As Scott suggested, if you registered but never finished, try using the
send password link on the login page.  If that does not work and you
really want your username you previously registered with send me private
mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
