I don't think I confused 2 issues, maybe it was not expressed correctly.
I agree with you anyway from what I can see in the 3.0 API.

I'm not reproching anything. I'm just saying that there seems to be a lot of
things going on right now in code structure and project structure. I don't
think this is piece of cake to solve all these issues at the same time.

mmm... I guess this is not important at this point since velocity/turbine is
supposed to be part of each web app.
In the turbine code we definitely should have:
Thread.getContextClassLoader() == ClassLoader.getCallerClassLoader() ==
Turbine.getClassLoader()
So no big deal.
