Dan, I have been building Turbine, Flux, Fulcrum etc from CVS for the past two months with success. It depends on how "used" to Turbine you are. Using the separate builds such as Torque and Fulcrum require more configuration and the documentation is sparse are using these tools separately. The way I understand it is that Fulcrum, Torque etc will make up Turbine 3, someone correct me if I am stating this incorrectly. . (See Scarab on http://www.tigris.org )
I have successfully used Torque and Fulcrum separtely is their current forms and they seem to work well, however if you are familiar with Turbine 2.X I would stick with that until there is at least an official release of Turbine 3 r, Hugh -----Original Message----- From: Dan Diephouse [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, December 18, 2001 2:13 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Using Turbine 2.2 I need to use some the bug fixes and intake updates that are in the current Turbine 2.2 CVS. Unfortunately, I have not been keeping up with the mailing lists since I have not been working with turbine for the past three months. I am wondering if I should just use the jakarta-turbine-2 CVS module, or if I need to compile torque, fulcrum, and other miscellaneous cvs modules and use those for extended features? If I need those other modules, are they stable enough for me to use at the moment?
