HotSpot error

Hello,
I am running an application on Turbine/Tomcat/Linux and the app went down.
The error message is this:

I know that this problem is not much related to Turbine but please help me I am running out ot time.

java version "1.3.0_02" linux 6.2

I did some research: http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/bugParade/bugs/4355769.html
One of solutions might be to switch to JDK 1.2.2-FCS which I do not want much
Another solution should be to set up this environmental variable: _JAVA_SR_SIGNUM (Some people suggest to 16 some 12)

If somebody had the same problem please, share with me your experience and solution.
