Oops.. as the text states i meant Torque vs Hibernate, was a little late
when i wrote that message :)

However, how is the integration with the new security system and hibernate
then? Is it hard to setup with Hibernate?

It's not a Torque vs Turbine, as Turbine has moved (except for some old API
stuff) to a persistence layer agnostic view.   I would recommend Hibernate,
it's fantastic, and much simpler/powerful to use then Torque.
