It's a matter of personal preference. Personally, I prefer mailling
lists, as I feel I have more control over routing of mail messages than
I do of newsgroups items. I have threading in Netscape, and there are
on-line list archives for browsing past discussions.
However, feel free to set an e-mail <-> news gateway. If you do (and
you've got the bandwidth), you could post the details here for other
subscribers who would prefer news to mail.
