What are the 1.1/1.2 issues?

I'm not sure if WebMacro has started using 1.2, if so, I would say try to
work with the 0.89 version, I think it is 1.1. If this is impractical, for
example the WebContext constructor being package only, the service, will
only be available to those running on 1.2 systems.

This sounds like a good idea.
