Hi,
Try using an absolute path name for the image.
i.e.

       <IMG src="/QMetrics.gif">

to pick up the image in DOCUMENT_ROOT.
Or better yet, create an images directory under DOCUMENT_ROOT
and refer to the image this way.

       <IMG src="/images/QMetrics.gif">
