I've used it extensively, and it works well but I would
prefer something in Java. I don't want to have to make system
calls, and there's no source. As a last measure I will use
it or a commercial tool but I don't want to.

I just sent a message to the author asking how things
are progressing. There hasn't been much going on with
it lately. My first attempt will be to modify this
library.
