[OT] I've seen similar problems with images in jar files. When there
compressed Toolkit.getImage does not load it. Whithin applets it seems
to work. I remember having seen this documented/FAQed somewhere but
could not find it again.
I read somewhere in the line that the ClassLoader.getResourceAsStream
should handle jar file compression transparently. Somehow this is
not true outside of applets?
