Im no expert on JMS or xml-rpc but it seems from what I have read that
JMS is built more for transporting xml and verifying that it was
properly transported to its destination. But xml-rpc is more for
things like sending a request for data to a server in xml format and
then recieving a response from the server with the requested data in xml
format.

My project is really in need of just verifying that xml data was
properly sent to its destination so I think that JMS might work better
for me. It really depends on what you are trying to do. :-)

There are a couple others out there.
1. Take a look at:
http://www.ejboss.org/

They have a JMS implementation called SpyderMQ. However, I am not sure
where it is in its development cycle. Also be aware that it is released
under GPL and I am not sure that they knw exactly how that will effect
the use of thier product just yet.

2. There is another one at:
http://www.swiftmq.com/

It is not opensource but it is free to distribute and it looks to be a
full stable release. I might have to use it to hold me over until a
good opesource implementaion becomes available.

Overall it seems to me that none of the opensource JMS implementations
are ready yet. I think that both objectcube and objectweb are in some
way related to enhydra. I spoke with enhydra several times and they are
not expecting to have a JMS implementation done until the end of the
year. OpenJMS seems to me moving along slowly but still not complete.
Hope this helps a little.
