Hi
I have been using the developer snapshot of Turbine taken from CVS archives a month
ago so far running under
Apache + JServ 1.1.
I noticed that there is a TDK 1.1a2 out there today and I downloaded a zip file dated
09/23/2000 and tried
to install the same running under Tomcat 3.1 but ended up with 99% CPU time sucked by
the process.
I have the following questions :
1) Even with this new TDK 1.1a2, do we have to install Tomcat separately or does it
come with Tomcat in it. (I have
noticed that there are some start/stop scripts and also webserver.jar file in it.
2) If the TDK comes with Tomcat, why doesn't it show whether it has started tomcat (no
tomcat.log file created)
and display home page ?
Any help is appreciated.

Actually, the latest scarab sandbox is the latest TDK and it is a "spinoff".
What version of Tomcat is your "normal" installation. The TDK currently uses
3.2b4 as its basis. Try downloading that version from the Jakarta website
and seeing if things work with that version?
