Dear All,

I need to use cookies instead of URL rewriting to maintain session in my
Turbine project (WAP application). This is crucial because the
additional JServ session identifier appended to every dynamic URL wastes
alot of space (WAP deck may contain only 1.4kB).

I use JServ 1.2.2 and have enabled cookies in my zone.properies using:

session.useCookies=true

... and despite all my endeavors all URLs produced using DynamicURL
contain the session id.

Do I have to add some code in Turbine (custom SessionValidator ?) to
make it work? Any other ideas?

If this is related to JServ, to you think I will not have the problem if
I use Tomcat ?

One think for sure, both WAP Gateway and my WAP phone emulator do
support cookies, so there should be no reason why it doesn't work.

Finally one word about Tomcat - as you mentioned the current release is
not production ready. Do you know, when will be the next release? Sun
says it's free - but do I need to get a license from Sun to use it for
commercial purposes?

Cheers,

Krzysztof
