I have some questions about the coupling between torque and Turbine.
I am looking at using Torque outside of a Turbine context (in an EJB).
What I would like to know is how coupled is torque to Turbine _AFTER_ the initial
generation of class files etc.
Since I am in the context of an EJB there is already a DBPool in place, but there
doesn't seem to be an easy way to get torque to use it. This is my first foray into
torque so i may be just missing something obvious. If it is easy could someone send a
snipet of code describing how to make a databasemap or doing a select on a peer from
and existing connection.
If there is tight integration, how hard would it be to seperate Torque from Turbine?
This is for a school project so I don't want to commit too much of my time to the
port, if one is needed.
