Hi,
I've managed to run my Velocity Site using Apache JServ and Turbine from
tdk1.1a11.
(Turbine from CVS cannot start Velocity Service).
Problems encountered (but resolved):
- Deprecated servlet API - I have to use putValue, getValue for sessions
- Content URI - cannot take servlet context (due to servlet spec. 2.0) -
I've created similar class which takes
context
from properties file (not elegant but working)
- Configuration: Paths cannot be relative in TurbineResources.properties,
the same applies to JServ configuration
And that's all so far...
Regards
Oskar
P.S. A bit of explanation - why JServ - it could looks strange I don't want
to use Tomcat
The situation is - my customer DOES NOT WANT to install any new
software on his server
(don't ask me why)
