I feel particularly unfit when it comes to the inner workings of widgets, i.e.
inheritance structure, and how the params are mangled by the different methods
like update_params etc.

Maybe you good brush this up and extend it a little bit or slice it up into
little chunks that could be inserted into the docs where appropriate?

Florent mostly wants to write about the usage of DataGrid and AJAX widgets, I
think, so his efforts are somewhat separate from mine.

You could take your laptop with you and go to a coffee house and, err, "drink
some coffee", and then write documentation ;-)
